True North Labradors specializes in breeding beautiful, field Labrador Retrievers in the dilute colors of silver and charcoal.

True North puppies come with an industry-leading, 36-month health guarantee on hips, elbows and eyes. Our silver Labradors are registered with AKC as chocolate; our charcoal Labradors are registered with AKC as black, our red Labradors are registered as yellow. We do have a spay/neuter agreement in place for all pups.

The Passing of True North's Richard

Richard Schuyler Mansfield, our partner, passed away on September 25, 2010. Richard was a lovely man who never knew a stranger and never carried a grudge. He leaves a huge hole in our hearts. For many of you, Richard was the face of True North Labradors. He was the guy who met you at the door with your new pup and he shipped the puppies to homes all over the country.
