True North Labrador Retrievers - AKC Silver and Charcoal Labrador Retrievers
Will's SlideShow

Will, it was great to meet you.  I can't believe how beautiful she looks in your arms.  Thanks for sending me new pictures of her.  Let me know what pet tricks she is learning.  What do your friends and extended family think of her?  Are you a minor celebrity when you take her out of the house?

You're about to find out just how much work these beautiful little urchins can be.  Here are a few more pictures to look at.  I can't believe we get to meet you in just another week and that your little dog is going home with you.  What did you name her?

These are just breath taking dogs.  See her chest?  It's built for lots of time swimming with you in the pool, in the lake, in the ocean.  She likes baths and bath tubs.  She's also very smart.  She was watching the rest of the litter  She can run really fast!

Do your Aunts and Uncles and Grandparents want to know how you're doing in school?  Well Hunter, our 12-year-old dog, thought it was time for her to learn to retrieve.  Here he is with a ball the size of 3/4 of her body.  He dropped the ball on her head a second later!

Did I mention that some of the puppies are pointing? When you don't hunt, I'm not sure what to do with the pointing drive.  This morning I went out with the dogs and found Eli pointing at .... ME.  This pup was looking at a ball on the grass that the kids were playing with.

We gave the puppies a bunch of toys: balls, stuffed turtles, rope toys, chew toys for teething, but by far their favorite toy are these little stuffed ducks you can get a bag of eight ducks for $9.99 from PetSmart.

After starting life at one pound the pups range between six pounds and eight pounds.  Their mom is just exhausted.

The puppies are very active.  They come out and play for about an hour.  Then it's like someone turns the lights off and they all collapse in a dog pile.  Here you can see a charcoal silver with both colors in his fur, a silver girl, and the rest of the litter.

It's time for Mischa to wean the puppies since they are five weeks old.  They are not happy about it at all.  As you can see, they chase her up onto an ottoman so that she can get away from them.

Your mom can tell you how important that can be. Mischa seemed to be talking to her.

Sometimes our best friends do not look like us at all. This poodle is only eight months old. The lab is our little one. She cries for him now when he is outside.

The litter mates love each other. Your girl will be a little scared when she comes to live with you. Can you believe that in four more weeks she will live with you? Then you will have to send me pictures, okay?

Asleep in Her Dinner
Wow! What a good meal. She fell asleep in her plate and her Mom didn't even make her go to bed.
